The aim of the Bolter is to maintain lumbar flexion when performing various manual therapy techniques outlined in the Treatment Protocol for Health Care Practitioners. 
 
The Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Bolter can also be used to perform some of the exercises outlined in the Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Workbook and instructional DVD.
